[Spring Cleaning: The Wind-Down]

[file transfer request: file1.jpg, file2.jpg] [[Two images, of Raikou and Entei respectively; the first shows Raikou bathed in the light from a flash of lightning, fangs bared as it hurls itself forward. The second is of Entei, standing still overlooking Cerulean from the cape, sunlight streaming over it from its own Sunny Day, contrasting sharply with the blackness of the rest of the sky. Both pictures are taken from a distance.]] You may have heard of these two: Raikou and Entei, part of the Ecruteak combo deal. They've been looking for their missing brother, hence the storms. Luckily for us, Proton's Celadon science team works fast, and we got what we needed out of Suicune in time to release it at the outskirts of Mt. Moon at 2:15 this morning. The power should return soon. Moving it to another base for further containment was an impossibility, as it took a 24-hour team of twenty psychic-types to keep the other two from finding its location. Rest assured that all your hard work didn't go to waste: with the information we have, our next project is more than ready to get underway. You can all expect your rewards shortly. [[ooc: No Q&A for this one, sadly. |

11/23/2011 Magnet Train heist. He was a member of the group that parachuted down onto the train. Archer didn't do much here outside of battle a few people, but he participated if that counts for anything!
03/08/2012 Anonymous Raid - Route 36. Kimblee was behind this and carried it out on his own. However, Kimblee informed Cobra that Archer planned this one.
03/27/2012 Anonymous Raid - Ecruteak Dance Theatre. Kimblee and Archer both planned and carried this out.
05/05/2012 Spring Cleaning. Archer was in charge of planting the discs in Johto, with Wheatley, GLaDOS, and Kimblee under his direct command. He battled against Emmy
and would have lost if he hadn't run.05/08/2012 Capturing Suicune. He participated in battling against Suicune with his team of level 100s. Archer and Kimblee battled Suicune in this thread.
All of this can be found in more detail in Kimblee's journal, here! Except obviously that's for Kimblee and not Archer but you know. I'm too lazy to do anything this in-depth.
Archer has also given away eggs to any member of Team Rocket who contacted him in this post in order to earn some brownie points. Any eggs he didn't sell (of his own Pokemon) went directly to Team Rocket.
As far as negative impacts go... Archer hasn't done too much to get himself in trouble. He can be found frequently shrieking at Kimblee about the number of Pokemon he has, but otherwise there's nothing to note.
It's also worth mentioning that he would like for Kimblee to get promoted as well, but if that's not possible, he'll that the promotion instead. Because he's the commanding officer obviously!!! He's been keeping very secretive about the anonymous raids - the only person who knows outside of Kimblee and Archer is Cobra, who promised to help them get promotions. Archer will out himself to the Executives when it comes to performance reviewing though!
HAVE AN ESSAY ON KIMBLEE + ARCHER'S BEHALF, ALSO LINKS EVERYWHERE I'M SORRY
legionlegendjointly working as Anon Rocketbro, so.Furthermore, several of the eggs mentioned at the bottom of that post were also given to TR members free of charge as outlined here.
He's also implored Cobra to put in a good word for Archer and back them up as the anonymous "individual" who's been posting to the network; they've provided proof to Cobra that they are, in fact, legit. And because Kimblee is thorough, he's also created a witness within TR by revealing himself as the anon to Ivan on both separate occasions.
In terms of things that were detrimental...he was partially responsible for the explosion at the Game Corner, but that was less a case of him intentionally destroying property and more a case of...well, Kimblee herping his derp after a superior officer in the name of fun, so um.
ETA: goodness lawd okay let me try to keep my characters straight
Kimblee has also been working on trying to infiltrate the PGC. He hasn't gotten terribly far yet, but he's conned the hell out of one member (Emmy Altava) into giving him some information. Furthermore, he's convinced both Emmy and Isaac McDougal that he's joined TR with the intention of spying on them to further throw off suspicion.
...and he fed Cobra a list of names that he considers a credible thread; his contributions are in that thread with Cobra above I AM SO SORRY I AM DONE NOW I PROMISE

Malik arrived in Johto in February of 2012. He ditched the last few days of his Rocket training in eagerness to get out and start stealing things (and upon learning one of his archenemies from home had also arrived).
He encouraged Rangiku to set up a Pokémon ranch/catching service for other trainers, with the hopes of creating the Team a nice, convenient target down the line. He also was hired by Cobra to make business cards that'd allow him to infiltrate the Game Corner. (Malik isn't about to report that now that he knows it's Team property and Cobra's being punished, but - it happened, all the same.) He also surveyed the population with the intent of discovering both potential targets and the best way to psychologically upset the average Johto civilian.
His most noteworthy contributions have come during this most recent plot. As head of the Johto garbage-distribution division, Malik checked up on his drivers frequently. He also attempted to organize looting as best he could, and (as an employee and to make up for the business card thing) protected the Game Corner's status as a base by pretending, as a "civilian", to get beaten up defending it. (Or well. Presumably the beating won't be pretend.)
As far as weekly handwaved things are concerned, he's never missed a report/theft delivery, and as a day job mans the Voltorb Flip section of the Game Corner. He's also started to network with his fellow Rockets, but no schemes have fully blossomed yet.

That said! Gorthan was very active in the Magnet Train heist. He was part of the group that planted the bombs, and later battled a few people.
He is very active in the Spring Cleaning plot as well. He is the creator of the devices that turn trash into Pokémon. Together with Descole, he was also in charge of planting the devices in Celadon City. He is also participating in the battle against Suicune, assisting Kato and Ivan.
During his first months, he worked on a genetic data bank for the Team, comprising DNA from Grunts as well as from Pokémon specimen in TR's possession.
He's working on several projects concerning the genetic manipulation of Pokémon, and, as Evron's chief authority on the subject, he's incredibly good at it.
In the laboratories, his attitude is somewhat bossy and reserved; he makes up for that by being incredibly hard-working, able to work on the same thing from early in the morning until late at night with hardly any breaks.
Now for the less Rocket-y things... During a conversation where Cobra Commander mentioned punishing people who had grown a conscience, Gorthan physically shuddered, because that is exactly the kind of thing that tends to happen to him; because of that, on Evron, he has already been exiled and nearly killed, so he doesn't want to risk it again.
Gorthan's outrage at the anonymous attack in Ecruteak City was anything but fake. He ended up spewing insults and vague threats at an anonymous Kimblee. He even traveled to Ecruteak City to give medical assistance to the Kimono Girls (but at the same time, he was also perfecting the devices for Spring Cleaning; so it's a good thing that the inner conflict didn't let him sleep).
But the most non-Rockety thing he did in the aftermath of the Ecruteak attack was participating (as the Woodsman) in Minnie's fundraiser play of Snow White, which was broadcast to the whole network.
So, yeah. Pros and cons are all over the place for this guy. Your decision, mods.
Now with a handy guide to his failures.
-He led the squad to capture the Radio Tower director with the other Private (who is no longer here)
-I don’t even remember if this was a Rocket plot or not but when Tarantulas unleashed the bugs, he tried to block them. With his face. Failure
-Participated in the Lugia thing Also failure
-Vandalized the Goldenrod City Gym with ice that later melted (not TR related but hey maybe exposing police and trainer incompetence counts for something).
-Participated in the train heist. Didn’t do too much besides lose from car to car. Darn those level 100s. Yet another failure?
-Poisoned the Pokemon Academy (also not TR related, but he did ask for any Rockets to be released from prison)
-And then there was the unfortunate incident where he kinda had company property blown up Unintentional failure
-Ran the signal jammers from the cave
-Tried to help out and catch Suicune. Ended up trying to fling Trubbish at it.
-Went back and sat in a cave with the power out.
Other Stuff:
He tries to sort of direct the Grunts. Unfortunately, Cobra can be kind of a jerk so it’s sort of hit and miss whether he gets listened to or not. He recently compiled a list of skills that the various Grunts have both for Team use and his own. He’s also compiled a list of targets, for the same reasons. As far as the demands he makes go, the one million dollars would be for his personal use. Sorry. But as he’s explained to Kimblee and Gorthan, he wants Cianwood to stage as an air base for Team Rocket. He’s also been turning in his reports and stuff on time, but I’ve been handwaving that. And he’ll be training Caster pretty soon too.
He’s also working with Kimblee and Archer and promised to put in a word for Archer for promotion.
And, he hired Stitch to attack Saber in exchange for money and putting a word in towards recruitment, I’m not sure how passing that along would work.
I think that’s everything. Not sure if any of that’s enough to make up for the poor dead slot machine. I have links to most, if not all, of this if needed.

Robin went AWOL at some point during the battle, taking all the ultra balls, potions, and berries that she had on hand with her. She's not coming back. Later, gators!
Also, she (publicly, alas! She needs to learn filters) told Twilight Sparkle and Carmen San Diego that it was all Team Rocket's doing. I'm sure it's no huge surprise and they would have figured it out on their own, but there's still rules, and she broke them.
no subject
The bigger offense, in their eyes, is betraying their secrets--would you be all right with having someone sent after her to, ah, 'teach her a lesson'?
no subject
And yeah, as soon as she learns of the microchip (I'm not sure how common knowledge it is) she is definitely getting it out. She'll take the stupid punishment if it means helping her little bird.
She may also, once she learns of the microchip, "lose" her pokegear and need a new one. There's been crazy weather and all. It must have slipped out of her pocket. >.>
no subject
Just fyi, wrt new gears: it still has to be registered to her name, so the Team could probably track her down that way, but it won't be as easy to track as a Rocket gear.
no subject
I thought the gears had tracking microchips in them, too? Anyway. Yes, I'm aware this will be an ongoing thing. It's WHY she came in as a Rocket.
