Also guys, we've received a few complaints about the overabundance of memes in the OOC community. We accidentally let it get a bit overboard and we don't want it to become too cluttered, so in a few days, we are going to make a meme-community for Route. For now and for the future, all memes posted in the game communities and the meme community must be mod approved. More details to come soon!

I thought I had, sorry if I didn't. The reason we're moderating the comm is because we want to a) establish the new system and b) memes were supposed to be moderated from the beginning so we're formally announcing it. It was one of those unwritten rules that we didn't feel would be fair without it being at least introduced to the players. We're not the type to go "hey you just broke a rule you didn't know about so you deserve a consequence", but to just "randomly" choose to moderate them on the OOC community would be awkward (and I say randomly for those who didn't know it was a rule, which was most of the playerbase), so the announcement was so players would know and at least have an idea on what we're planning in the next few days. I don't like just springing thins on my players so the announcement was a heads-up, and, from the responses we've been getting, in need of a bit more tweaking.

I'll be explaining the system once the community has been set up. We're not trying to restrict or control anyone's fun, and we have no problem with memes at all, nor do we just assume the players can't handle things. In fact, we're sure you can. We're moderating the comm just for the system and to make sure things go smoothly at first. I don't want to just turn everyone loose and let things get chaotic because I haven't made clear sense of something or we had some confusion.

We had decided the night the announcement came up. I won't be around this weekend so I haven't had time to set it up, but I'm setting it up the day I return. And everything will be fully explained once I'm back. I am new at this whole modding experience and I don't want things going to chaos if there's a way to prevent it first. Until the announcement is up, you can all still ask one of us, including our tech mods, and use the OOC community for memes. After all, they are only memes. If they don't go up, that might be unfortunate but they're not dire issues or completely necessary to the game. We'd like to ask that you just remain patient for us to explain the system and everything it entails before jumping on us for not giving more details. We've been receiving many brilliant suggestions with this post and we're trying to incorporate them with the new memes community, and it's on our list of things-to-do-when-Stormy-isn't-swamped-and-not-sleeping. I apologize that we haven't given any details but with the way things are changing and with the way things are going right now, a full explanation as well as the community will both be announced when I return.
