weekly updates

Announcements, guys!

YOUR WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS WEEK IS: SUNNY!
That's right, guys! It's going to be beautiful and sunny until Monday, Sept. 6! Level playing fields, but who wants to battle? It's wonderful picnic weather!
Highs: 85ºF/29ºC. Lows: 64ºF/18ºC.

Also guys, we've received a few complaints about the overabundance of memes in the OOC community. We accidentally let it get a bit overboard and we don't want it to become too cluttered, so in a few days, we are going to make a meme-community for Route. For now and for the future, all memes posted in the game communities and the meme community must be mod approved. More details to come soon!

And don't forget our monthly activity check, which is.... the post right after this one!

Was it... not working in the first place? Don't get me wrong, a meme community will be great, but I think the problem the person complaining had was with memes posted in the actual journals, not ones in the OOC comms. We only have a couple a week, if that, and they weren't going moderated. Now, if they do get moderated, either A: people won't post them, B: we'll get a flood of them at once as you guys approve them and people won't want to pay as much attention to them, or some... other thing. Or it'll work! Who knows. Just seems kinda silly to me.

I understand you're not trying to stop that, and I guess I was stretching a little there, but like I said, you guys're already at least a little backlogged, and I know that's not your fault or anything, you never know when life hits you, but even adding a little more can't help much when there's stuff on the FAQ/Suggestions post still going ignored, so. :( Just my thoughts.

-- And I do think it's great you guys are so on top of this, though, don't get me wrong-- I just don't entirely think it's necessary just yet. XD;;

Fair enough, I suppose--! If that's the case though, I still think just making the comm period (at which point people who don't care can just ignore it) would be enough, but that does sound fair.

Fair enough there too! I know you guys have been really busy and all, I just thought it was kinda @_@ to start throwing a new comm and system together (I get that it was supposed to be there before, but seeing as it WASN'T... yeah) when there is other stuff to do, but yeah, I do getcha. -- Though I do think, as fair as the people who replied and you guys think don't need replies are concerned, a reply like "We will take this into consideration" at... least might be helpful to them so they know they aren't getting ignored.

On that note, good luck with everything and whatnot!

Well, on most cases we would, but most of the moderating is so the system works out well enough. I don't want to just turn it loose on the trial period. It's not too complicated, we just have to set it up in a way that's easy to understand.

Makes sense. We'll probably start doing that now. I just don't like always having to go "thank you for your input" whether we really change or use something or not. Sometimes generic answers just feel a little impersonal and dismissive, and that's what I was trying to avoid. But you do have a point there, it does look a little ignored if we don't say anything at all. We might just respond to them anyhow.

Also, thank you!

Alright then-- Look forward to it then!

I can understand that completely. I just know at least from my perspective, I've put a... few things up there, and I know you're busy and all, so there's no rush or anything, but I'm sure people would appreciate that. Amd if you want to keep the things that people said screen still, so you can still discuss it without the comm getting involved, just leave them screened and all.

You're welcome! o/
