[Spring Cleaning: Missions START]

Drop whatever else you're doing. We have jobs for you. Group 1: You'll be hijacking city garbage trucks in Celadon, Saffron, Violet, Goldenrod, Ecruteak and Olivine. We don't need trash everywhere, but we need it in quantity, so make piles. Try not to be conspicuous, but we don't give a damn what you do with the trucks after you're done. Agents Takagi, Triton, Quinn, Kent, Marcelline, Ishtar, and Lust, you're in Goldenrod. Uryuu, Saffron. Braginsky, Ecruteak. Ishtar, you're in charge of Kanto. Group 2: You'll be split into two teams. A - Johto, B - Kanto. Each of you will recieve an envelope within twenty-four hours containing one small disc and handling instructions. Your mission is to get to the biggest trash heap in your desginated location and plant the disc. A: Agents Wheatley and Caroline, you'll be working as a unit in Goldenrod. Agent Archer, I'm sending you to Ecruteak with Kimblee; you're in charge of Team A. B: Agents Descole and Gorthan, unit in Celadon. Agent Hughes, you're in Saffron with Agent Kato, and I'm putting you in charge of Team B. Agent Gorthan's authority trumps both of you when it comes to handling the discs; do not mess this up. Coordinate with the Group 1 leaders if you need to. Private Cobra, report to Diglett Cave. This is non-negotiable. We'll be providing your transport, as usual. If you have questions, contact us [here]. Don't kill yourselves, or worse--get caught. We'll be watching each and every one of you. Impress us, and you just might be rewarded. You have until 6:30AM on the 5th to get this done. [[ooc: Ariana will be answering questions this time around, so Rockets can ICly comment here as if this were a regular network post. (That's how badly she doesn't want you to mess up.) Also assume this is padded with NPC assignments as well. Seeing as how the Rocket missions are more or less on an individual basis, we're leaving any creation of logs up to players' discretion; however, a large mass log will be created on the 5th for garbage combat and assorted looting. However, feel free to use this post for IC planning.]] |

Okay, right. Once Kimblee is done looking over this assignment, realizes exactly what this is going to require him to come in contact with, and has a tremendous internal OH GOD OH MAN reaction for perhaps several minutes longer than is really necessary, there will be a response to this.
He knows he likely should just let this go, and for a brief moment he hesitates before sending the text; he told Archer that he would do anything necessary to help him obtain promotions, and as such he should not be going out of his way to jeopardize thaaaaaahahahahaha okay yeahno, never mind, when it came to his level of support for the cause CLEARLY HE LIED. There is no way they're getting him to do this willingly, risking irritating the superiors be damned. Oh god oh man oh ew.]
Requesting permission to address those in charge of the mission assignments?

Less a problem and more of a suggestion - as much as I appreciate the generosity of our superiors in tasking Archer and I with the same city, I can't help but think that perhaps my skills would be better utilized elsewhere.
As such, I would like to request a transfer, if at all possible?

[Translation: explain yourself.]

I MEAN A+ STALKING, MADAM, DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT MUST WE GET INTO THIS
MUST WE REALLY]
My concern has nothing to do with interpersonal affairs, regarding either Colonel Archer or Mr. Braginsky.
There are several reasons, the first being a matter of redundancy - I've no doubt that Colonel Archer is more than capable of managing his post without my assistance, and as such my presence won't be entirely necessary. The second being that Colonel Archer and I were both involved in a recent incident in Ecruteak City; surely you heard about the incident regarding the Dance Theatre? While our identities weren't compromised at any point, I can't help but feel that having both of us in said city on a mission affiliated with the organization is simply inviting trouble.
Thirdly, I do admit that there are some concerns of a more personal matter, though again, they have nothing to do with the individuals that I've been tasked to work with.

Your reasoning is sound, and while I'll admit to being curious about this 'personal matter', you've been useful to me. Your request is granted.
New assignment: report to the old base in Mahogany town, science wing. You'll be picked up from Ecruteak, so just accompany Agent Archer up north.

Ariana bb he will give you so many things in return for this should you ask
jewelry
favors
pokémon
firstborn children that actually are not kimblee's but whatever it's the thought that counts
you name it]
Duly noted; consider your generosity and patience greatly appreciated.

jewelry and pokemon tho, anytime, srsly
firtborn children no so much]
Don't thank me yet, Agent; I'll be putting those deft fingers of yours to good use. Now if you don't have any more questions, I've got work to do.
no subject
welp

...yep]
No further questions.

As always, it is an honor to serve you. I shall not betray the trust that is being placed in me.
Allow me one question, however - one perhaps inane. I trust that the units will also be supplied with devices to adequately communicate with their respective team leaders, correct? I have reason to believe that the ordinary PokéGear frequencies may not be safe enough.
no subject
You'll be provided with two-way handheld radio transceivers operating on a private channel, for use strictly on these missions. You're right in assuming the Gear is hardly safe.
no subject
And do not fear - the devices will not disappoint you.

Luckily for him, none of this translates through text.]
Where is it? I've never heard of Diglett Cave.
[Text]
[You best not be whining, Agent. Is Ariana gonna hafta cut a bitch?]
[Text]
Understood. What do I do once I get there?
[Please not boxing tails. Anything but that.]
[Text]
[Text]
Understood. Will take next train out. One last question. Why was my pay decreased?
[May as well try and get a clear answer while he has her on the line.]
[Text]
Repairs on the machine you destroyed had to come from somewhere, Private. See to it that that doesn't happen again, or you'll get worse than a pay cut.
[And bitch duty.]
[Text] I dunno. I think that icon works well here.
My apologies. Would it possible to have a list of establishments we own to avoid situations like this in the future? I didn't intend to destroy anything belonging to Team Rocket.

Understood. Heading to the station now.

[...Though he does have to wonder how the superiors know to keep him and Kimblee as a unit...]
I'll ensure everything goes smoothly on my end. I do have a question though; how were the leaders chosen?
[Archer has spoken to Malik a grand total of once - he doesn't recognize the name Ishtar, however. He's not sure what Malik has been up to, but it's probably been behind-the-scenes-type work if he's been given a position of powerh here. The one that concerns him is Hughes. There's no benefit to outing Hughes right before a major operation like this; it would only result in the Executives scrambling to find someone to replace him. He'll keep quiet about Hughes' secret agenda there.]
[Of course, Archer hasn't actually verified any of this with Hughes. Why else would he be in Team Rocket, though? He's a good man - this version isn't the one Archer knew back home, but he has yet to spot any differences at all - he wouldn't willing serve a criminal organization like Team Rocket without a reason. Archer suspects he's trying to overthrow Team Rocket from the inside.]
[So how did Hughes get a position of power here? Has he become more active within Team Rocket? Archer is smirking though; this will be fun.]
no subject
[no for real???]
[Okay, in all seriousness, the choice of leaders was most out of perceived aptitude, capacity to handle stress, and a number of other factors
that amount to OOC requests, like keeping an eye on those with dangerous potential--why else would they want to keep Kimblee with Archer?--but Archer's not privy to that.]That information is for us to know, and for you to make good on. Leader or not, we've got our eyes on all of you. See to it that you don't disappoint, Agent.
no subject
[All excellent reasons, and ones he'd be quite pleased to hear! However...]
I understand. You have no reason to worry; everything will go perfectly.
no subject
We expect nothing less. Dismissed.
[text]
Consider it done. I'll coordinate our forces immediately.
no subject
That's what I like to hear. Keep up the good work, Agent.
no subject
[Having to work his way up the corporate ladder....oh well, though he prefers founding absurd criminal organizations himself.]
[Text] Thanks autotitle for taking a 'T' to be an 'A'
After garbage is deposited, you would not mind say, a rocket who has been tapping phones to crash said trucking into Pokécentre and use that and own monsters as distraction to place bugs in said area?
Because I would dislike to go against anything superiors are planning.
no subject
Now if, say, you wanted to sneak in after-hours and bug the place once the mission is done, well, we wouldn't stop you.
