AND WE SAID LET THE GAMES BEGIN~~~

NEW BARK TOWN
DAY 27/11. 23:58.

"Professor Oak... I think--"

"Just one moment, Professor Elm, I think I've got i--"

"B-but Professor Oak!"

"Just a minute... Aha! I've got it!" In his zone, Professor Oak doesn't stop being hunched over his machine until he's solved the problem. Or at least until he thinks he has. It's finally stopped beeping.

"Professor... it's smoking."

"Eh?!"

And in a matter of seconds... it begins to beep again. Both professors stare in shock. A few seconds later, it begins to flash. They just duck, and as the machine explodes, an unearthly light pours from the laboratory and out into the land above.

By the time the smoke clears, both professors are quite certain that something went awry...

The fourth wall begins now!

Hey hey, this is just a drive-by suggestion but maybe having a post where people can link their 4th wall posts would make it easier for visitors to find?

If this has already been suggested or you had other plans, uh...ignore this post! 8D

I've actually been meaning to ask this for a while, not sure if it's applicable here or at the other post, BUT.

You mentioned that the glitch can warp people places, correct? Once the event is over, will the players still be in those places, or will they reset to where they were before the glitch?

...and if this was mentioned already then I am so sorry for being such a fail and causing you so much trouble ;;

It's up to you! You can choose whether to have your character return to where they were or remain where they were sent.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I just had a thought - considering that logs and broadcasts are still being made on the gears, I wonder if they will remain recorded after the event? (I'm assuming no, since if we're mindwiped they probably wouldn't forget to erase such stuff, but I'm curious if there'd be some sort of trace left after the logs. Like how you can sometimes see that there's BEEN a file on a computer, even if the file itself is gone. JUST A THOUGHT)

I know that their memories will be erased but what about any injuries they may sustain during the event? Like say, if someone broke a nose during the event, would their nose still be broken after the event? Would they wake up wondering why their face hurts so much? Or would they wake up like nothing ever happened?
