CHOCOLATE RAAAAIIIIIIINN, Some stay dry and others feel the pain!

Wondering what the weather is?

YEP, THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S STILL RAINING!

If anything, it's gotten worse. For Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the rain continues. If you're still battling, now might be a good time to stop. Seeking refuge or climbing trees would be a safe bet as well. By late evening on Saturday, the water's over ankle deep from New Bark Town to mid Route 36. Sunday morning, on Route 29, the water is already at least knee deep. The further on the trail, the higher the water level.

By mid afternoon on Monday, Routes 36, 32, and 31 are almost impossible to cross. Those with water pokemon will be at a swimming advantage; please take this time to swim to your nearest pokemon center!

The Kangaskhan police, working with Officer Jenny and her assistants, begin patrolling and doing their best to rescue anyone who needs help getting to the closest pokemon centers. On Routes 29 and 30, they wade through with ropes tied to their pouches and babies on their shoulders. These routes are still capable of being walked! It is just difficult and not recommended.

On Routes 31, 32, and 36, they come in small rafts. Their job is to help any stray trainers who might need their assistance; feel free to take them up on this offer or swim on your own! (Swimming and floating through the currents will make the journey take one third time of distance. Struggling and wading will take twice the time of the distance. The boats will take one day.)

Please watch out for your fellow trainers and pokemon!

On TUESDAY, JULY 6TH, At approximately 2 PM EST, things begin to get a little freaky. In Violet City lies a building called Sprout Tower. A rickety, three-story building, Sprout Tower is over 100 feet tall and held together by a flexible pillar in the middle. It is filled with monks who collected bought and donated pokemon supplies to give wandering trainers in need of assistance.

When the rain started, as did the chaos. A few dozen Gastly, in fear of being blown away, decided to sneak into the tower for refuge. Because they are quite mischievous, they decided to have a bit of fun.

...and they got carried away.

This is where you come in! We need forty (40) volunteers!

The Gastly are going to summon people many places, from the nearby cities to some specific buildings. We will tell you where once we make a list, but if you're willing to volunteer for the plot, please comment below!

Each player may volunteer one character only. If we don't have enough volunteers, we'll open it up to seconds.

In addition to which character you are volunteering, there are also modes: Easy Mode, Medium Difficulty, or Devil May Cry.

Easy Mode is for people who don't want their characters to roam too far from Cherrygrove and the closer passed locations (i.e. Violet City, New Bark Town). Medium Difficulty is a bit further of a distance (ask yourself, are you alright with your character being stuck in Goldenrod for a good week or two?). Devil May Cry mode is, like, Cianwood distances (are you willing to risk the journey?).

Note! These modes do not have to reflect your character's skill! We will gladly send your moe popstars to Cianwood to cry their little hearts out, if necessary.

We will be randomly selecting the chosen characters through the volunteers, so if you think you want to participate and will have some time next week for fun, go ahead and drop a line! Any questions and concerns can go down here too! Remember, Character Name & Difficulty!

More information will come on Monday!

...yeah, we figured it's time for a game-wide plot. Let's get our game on, gais!

The cave will not be very flooded! Granted, water will be pouring in, but the cave has underground mini-lakes and the water will be pouring into those. Further into the cave, the rocky ground will just be damp if it's even wet, but those in the cave will be mostly safe!
