It’s been a good long while since any of the Rockets heard that distinctive, deliberately-obnoxious ringtone blaring from their PokeGear’s speakers to announce an incoming message from the Rocket Admin channel.

Even the grunts, both native and—ahem, otherworldly—who are lingering around the HQ in Mahogany Town haven’t seen hide nor hair of their leaders.

What happened to them?

Did they get nabbed by undercover Jennies?

Did Petrel discover a hidden love for Budew farming and drag Arianna and the rest off with him to discover the joys of gardening tools and hay fever?

Was there a zombie outbreak that was somehow limited only to the locked Admin offices of the HQ?

Well, nobody really knows, but if there’s gonna be an answer at all? It’s gonna be given tonight.

At about eleven o’clock at night, Rockets all over Johto will once again hear the deceivingly cheerful-sounding Rocket-ringtone, accompanied by the sound of the screen blipping on and the alarming-looking sleep-deprived face of Arianna glowering at them. There’s bags under her eyes. One side of her hair looks slightly burnt. Her elegant-but-dangerous-looking makeup is hastily-applied.

She looks terrifying.

“Greetings, grunts. I understand that we have not been in contact for quite some time. Well, allow this to be your confirmation that nothing has changed. You are still our minions and we are not gone! We merely… ahem.”

She pauses to press a hand to her temples and straighten her hair slightly.

“… Had some technical difficulties.”

Behind her, a few Jigglypuffs bounce gently past, smiling unblinkingly at the camera. One of them has a conspicuous-looking headband with a tacky plastic-flower ‘disguise’ on it.

Arianna’s expression remains stony, even as a frantic-looking Petrel stumbles past behind her, arms full of other Jigglypuff.

“As I was saying… I’ve seen that you’ve all become scattered without our instruction. That many of you have been lying down on the job. Well, your idle days are over. We have new assignments for you.”

At long last, a smirk appears on her face and she steeples her fingers.

“You all have three days to set your affairs in order and throw off any … hangers-on … before arriving here at the HQ. Attached to this transmission is a list of locations where you may arrive and be picked up discretely by one of our un-labeled helicopters and transported there quickly and comfortably, where you will be given lodgings and full use of our facilities while you await further instruction. Those of you who have remained loyal to us during our silence will be rewarded handsomely. Those who haven’t, and may be thinking of deserting…”

Her eyes narrow.

“Don’t. See you soon.”

And with those cryptic last words, the feed blinks out. An accompanying ~DING~ signals a text attachment—the set locations and times of the helicopter pick-ups.

TIME FOR SOME ROCKET MAYHEM. Arianna has arranged for Rocket helicopters to come pick up the rockets on the night of Friday, January 21. That night, we'll have more information for you!

Please tell us in the comments whether your character is willingly tagging along or not. Raz will be going along, as part of his own plans, so no unwillingness from him. However, he will be trying to warn Johto of the plans when he hears them. What's the punishment for that...?

And if there's a punishment, will it affect him if he only tells a few select people?

The punishment for leaking plans will be the same as what the unwilling to return Rockets get :> which we will reveal in time /o/

Of course we will; You don't need to worry the slightest bit. [With that, she drew a smile to her face, still looking nothing but scary.] Just arrive and we will arrange everything perfectly.

If you ever need some hair care tips for that, I have plenty. [Really, she does.]

Wonderful to hear! I must say, I am eager to hear what you have been up to all these months. [Just so you know Arianna, Grell is unfazed by that scariness. She loves it when her bosses give her scary looks.]

That will come in due time. [At least she's not doing it on purpose, she's trying to look calm and sophisticated rather than a horrifying thing from the closet.]

Cobra Commander was planning to threaten Johto with a Snover in a box disguised as a weapon of mass destruction, but he can't pass up possible rewards/better resources, so he'll go on the helicopter ride instead. His plans can be reworked or saved for later.

...Is he in trouble for trying to rule the world?

Also really excited to see what you have planned.

Mammon's not in Team Rocket or anything, but she's traveling with... 5 Team Rocket members? Pfft. And if there's one thing, she's going to be really angry when they try to pull Asmodeus and Sakutaro (who are Team Rocket members) away from her and ruin her travel plans, so she might resort to destructive Pokemon battling against whoever tries to take them away. 8|a ... What happens then?

And Daisuke will be sort of not willing because he also heard about what they are, but he's a big pushover, so. >_>;
