Now, for the good stuff...
Alrighty guys! So you remember all that fog we're getting this weekend? Yeah, something is happening.
You see, dear travelers, this fog is rather appealing to ghost and psychic types... particularly hordes of Drowzees, Hypnos, and Gengars among other things.
The night of the 16th, when you go to sleep, you're not going to have many pleasant dreams. Oh no. In fact they're downright unsettling and even leaning towards the nightmarish side. Thank Arceus they're just dreams right? You're going to be so happy to be waking up the next day. So so soooo happy.
Except not.
Maybe it's because all of your dreams are just that much more delicious and they can't help themselves or perhaps it's just bad luck, but either way, none of the natives are affected by what's happening.
And what's happening is that you're going to start hallucinating and living out your nightmares. Timmy is stuck in the well? You can't get to him. Even if you hear his pleas. In fact you pushed Timmy into the well. HOW DOES THAT FEEL. It's not going to help that the fog, as if the visibility issue isn't bad enough, is leaving practically all the towns at a stand still except for the Pokecenter and the Police.
If you didn't sleep the night before, can you deal with the madness going around now? And can you survive without sleep for the next couple of days...? Because as soon as you do go to sleep you're going to be next.
But never fear! This won't last forever. By late Sunday evening/early Monday morning (the 19th and 20th) all of the pokemon that started this mess start retreating with the fog... and with them the nightmares. If you're not exhausted enough and feeling a little vengeful it's now that you can catch the ones that have been plaguing you all so:
Drowzee
Hypno
Gastly
Haunter
Gengar**
Girafarig
Rotom**
Shuppet*
Banette**
Duskull*
Drifloon
* = Uncommon
** = RARE AND DIFFICULT TO CATCH.
And then finally, finally, FINALLY you can rest.
Hopefully.
So now! ~Remember there is no death in R29!~ You can fight, "maim" each other, and cause some destruction (I.E. breaking windows, doors, and other such things) but know that the officers and nurses ARE on alert. Officers can and will find anyone (with some difficulty) and if they prove to be a danger in any way they WILL be restrained and thrown into a holding cell. Nurses will not hesitate to do the same and strap people into a bed if they're near/in the center. Neither of them will let the apprehended go until late Monday evening to after thoroughly checking your vitals and what the total damage is. Hope you have the money and time to pay off what you did if you destroyed the big P for the PokeMart.
Your pokemon are not affected. They will not suffer from hallucinations or nightmares like everyone else. Try not to kick your poor little partner around too much. I doubt Fido will enjoy it.
On that note, as if it isn't obvious enough, Psychic and Ghost pokemon get bonuses to their attack and defense.
Rockets! For some reason the ghosts (and oddly enough the Girafarig too) like to be extra friendly with you. Don't be surprised to get a friendly lick and extra spook now and again.
Have fun!
