I am a psychic. I discovered a powers during my youth when I bent a spoon without trying. Since then, I've manifested my psychic powers in a variety of ways, like telekinesis, teleportation, telepathy, psychokinesis and even transmutation. I can also communicate with the departed, if need be. I can communicate with all types of pokémon, but psychic pokémon maintain the best link, as they're able to communicate back and we're able to carry conversations mentally.

Hey, Rin! The best advice I have for you is know your pokémon types. It may not seem much, but many pokémon of the same type carry similar physiology. All bug type pokémon contain exoskeletons, most, if not all, water types contain gills and scales, flying type pokémon usually have lighter bones and other things that allow for wings and organs that facilitate balance. They are basic guides in pokémon centers to get you acquainted with the types and their structure.

Also, taking a job at the pokémon center is really helpful. I know I sometimes go down to the Pewter Center to volunteer and learn from Nurse Joy, who's always eager to teach. You also learn many things about the healing technology and how it's adjustable for each pokémon.

A lot of Johto's and Kanto's prehistory can be found in the mountains and rock formations. I know I personally excavate fossils found in Mt. Moon, and that's how I got my Omastar and Kabutops. I know, sometimes, breaking rocks can get you a fossil or two too. Any fossils found can be taken to my museum for revival.

That said, I know there are some reports of fossils that exist just below the earth's surface. I remember a kid found one just walking around and he tripped over one in Mahogany town. So far, 9 fossil pokémon have been discovered. They're all rock type, presumably of an adaptation of being, you know, a fossil but some scientists, like myself, are debating if Relicanth counts as a fossil type pokémon. Relicanth has been around since those eras, but it's still alive and well today and can be caught in areas like Mt. Silver. I also helped with the importation of some in the Safari Zone, so you should be able to find one there.

Hello, Whitney! I need your professional opinion on two matters.

Firstly, if someone wanted to get all the Normal-types out there, would the species that lose it upon evolving still count after that? Or would they have to remain at their first stage?

Secondly, what Normal-types would be particularly challenging to find, catch or raise? Any recommendations?

Psychic power is achieved by focus. It's not about what you control with your own mind, it's about controlling your own mind. You clear your mind of excessive thoughts, and just focus on the target. With full focus, I can eject particularly rude challengers from my gym. [ That might cause a gulp. ] I also one time moved a truck to save a citizen but it was particularly taxing. I do not have much interest in moving objects with my mind, however, as I prefer the more communicative powers of psychic types and I do not like physical manifestations of psychic power, using it only when necessary.

Of course you can! When you're as elite as I am, training becomes less about time-consuming skill-building and more about simply staying in peak condition. That leaves me a fair amount of time for other pursuits — like visiting the Dragon's Den, or enjoying an afternoon at Blackthorn's famous hot springs!
