Got a Secret, Can You Keep It?

Hey, EV News fans! Have you got something you've been dying to get off your chest? Something you want to say without your identity attached? Or maybe words alone just aren't enough, and nothing but an artistically photoshopped 600x600 image will do! Then you're in luck, because this week it's...




That's right, Newsfans, it's PostSecret Week here at EV News! For anyone unfamiliar with PostSecret, or any of the other assorted secrets communities, PostSecret is basically a project where people write a secret of theirs on an image or postcard and submit it, and then on a designated day of the week, all the submitted secrets are collected and posted for public consumption! And since we see absolutely no reason why Johto and Kanto should be without such a neat project, we're giving your characters the opportunity to participate in one, courtesy of your friends at EV News.


Here's the basics:

→ Make an in-character secret from your character! This can be about anything; how they're feeling lately, something they want to get off their chest, friendly gossip they'd like to stir up among their friends, whatever! (If you need an idea of the sort of thing we're looking for, try looking at the link to PostSecret above for inspiration!)
→ Save that image file to an image hosting site like Imgur!
→ Submit it to us HERE, on our screened secrets post!
→ Wait for this coming Friday and cross your fingers to see your secret posted!

Here's some extra rules:

→ DO NOT ABUSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ANONYMOUS. Your secrets must be in-character and they must be civil. We reserve the right to throw out any secrets that we find potentially offensive, in poor taste, or generally missing the point that this is supposed to be cute and fun for everyone.
→ DO NOT SUBMIT TRIGGERING SECRETS. This goes for both image and text.
→ You must use the journal of a character currently in Route to submit a secret. Secrets submitted anonymously will not be posted.
→ You may submit as many secrets as you want, but you should submit only one secret per comment. Paste us the url of the direct link, please, not the image itself.
→ Secrets should be no larger than 600x600 pixels.
→ Secrets may reference other characters in the game, NPCs, game events, game settings, game mysteries, and so on, provided they remain OOCly civil. ICly, feel free to use this as a venue to reach out to other characters, provoke interaction, expose secrets (with permission!), taunt each other, and so on.
→ FINAL CUTOFF FOR SECRET SUBMISSION IS THURSDAY NIGHT AT 11:59 PM, EST.

Assuming we get a good turnout from you guys, then we'll be putting up these secrets on Friday as a special post in place of the usual EV News broadcast. At that time, the comments of the secrets post will be open for IC interaction and discussion of the secrets! Clair will not be responding to any love letters unless they're really, really good. We hope you'll enjoy this opportunity to engage in some IC gossip, get your creativity going, and just generally have a good time! ♥

Since this is such short OOC notice, can we assume that ICly this event was advertised for a while ahead of time so that characters would have sufficient time to react/plan?
