It's Friday, Friday, gettin' down on Friday! And that means it's time for a very special edition of...

▶ ▷ ▶ SPECIAL BULLETIN #1 • This week's pretty special as far as we're all concerned! Starting off with the NO FOOLIN' Benefit Concert in Olivine City on April 1st! Leader JASMINE's darling AMPHAROS, Amphy, is slowly getting better at the local Pokémon Center, but she's not quite ready to return to work yet. To help the cost of maintaining both the Lighthouse and the Olivine City gym without her precious Amphy, a concert will be thrown in their honor. Starting at 4 PM, it'll be an all-afternoon and all-evening event! They've got... a good ten, twenty, or more musicians here! Admission is free but monetary donations are very much appreciated! You can donate with your Gear at the stations located at the entrance, two placed near the stage, and two placed at the back. There will also be food vendors, and everything at the Mart the day of the concert will be half off! To make it easier to transport, Leader JASMINE has rented a few vehicles to transport trainers from neighboring cities. She hopes to see all of you there on April 1st!

▶ ▷ ▶ SPECIAL BULLETIN #2 • The next one's another giant celebration, this one put together by Clair! It's a prom! Who knew LANCE and CLAIR would be nice enough to open up their scenic Tohjo Falls retreat to the public! On April 5th, lasting all the way that Friday and Saturday, it's going to be a fun-filled adventure of music, dancing, and fun! Even a pool, if you want to bring a swimsuit! The weather's pretty nice, and the water's kept at a warm and moderate temperature so even when the sun goes down, the party doesn't have to end with it. Furthermore, sleeping accommodations will also be provided, so we can all look forward to dancing until we drop! I wouldn't even be surprised to see a bit of battling or two. After all, just about every gym leader's going to be there, and just judging by the square feet of this place, there's got to be ample fighting space. Leader CLAIR just asks that you don't break anything! And since just about every gym leader in Johto and Kanto has been invited, they're providing the transportation for you! So pack your bags, meet up at the gym by noon on April 5th, and you've got a free ride! Assuming you're one of the lucky trainers who found one of her silver tickets, that is! To think, two gym leaders throwing these wonderful festivities for us! Remember to thank them by visiting both of their events and telling them in person!

▶ ▷ ▶ SPECIAL BULLETIN #3 • In other news, have you seen how many Jennies have been around lately? A few more than usual have been on patrol lately, following Rocket concerns circulating around Kanto again. Rumor has it there's a new base in Cerulean City! A few of the men in red-R's have been seen sneaking around there, according to sources. It might do to question both Gym Leader MISTY and the visitors to see what they know on this shocking new development! And remember, if you see anything happening, or any Rocket sightings, please let the Jennies in your town know! Every little tip helps in their efforts to thwart crime!

▶ ▷ ▶ SPECIAL BULLETIN #4 • Unfortunately, we couldn't get hold of MOM for another of her delectable recipes this week; when approached for comment, she very quickly shut the front door of her house in New Bark Town and swore us to secrecy about anything we might've seen inside! How mysterious! However, one of our intrepid reporters did confirm spotting a silver ticket on top of a stack of mail in MOM's front hall! Could that have anything to do with the great MOM mystery? Only time will tell!

▶ ▷ ▶ SPECIAL CALL-IN HOUR! • HEY, TRAINERS! Are YOU excited about all the upcoming events in store? Got big plans for the upcoming festivities?
