	Saturday [8/07] ...So the clouds are cooling everyone off but there's no sight of rain and it's still horribly humid. Highs: 82ºF/27.7ºC. Lows: 66ºF/18.8ºC.
	Sunday [8/08] Come on. Can't it rain already? The clouds aren't breaking up and they're looking darker... Highs: 85ºF/29.4ºC. Lows: 70ºF/21.1ºC.

Not to be difficult or anything, but I actually don't remember badges having to be mod-approved. Of course, I was a dork and didn;t even know the gym leaders Pokemon were leveled up a lot more than the actual games have until another played kindly pointed it out. I looked in theFAQ, Rules, and Battles 101 section and it never says that in there either which leads me to believe it had to be some announcement that I may have to look in the mod journal because I honestly don't remember this.

Firion already won two badges with no mod telling me otherwise and while I would normally be fine to retcon... this is going to be a LOT of retconning if I still have to do it. I am more than willing to just keep Firion where he is, which will be actually BACKTRACKING to the Warrior or Light and have him take MUCH LONGER to earn the next one and, obviously, have it mod approved. I would really prefer this because I would be retconning not only Firion's journey but all the CR he has made since and, honestly, that's... a lot to retcon.

Edit: Finally found the link to the badges section, I don't know why that was hard to find. But either way, my question still stands.

Um, just saying, on the badges page (http://these-balls.livejournal.com/5203.html) "must be mod approved" is... right there in bold and stuff. And looking at his Pokemon, saying he won those badges... wouldn't really be fair to the entire rest of the RP as a whole, especially those who are a lot stronger than him but have tried only the first gym and gotten their ass handed to them. I understand your problem, but it's not really anyone else's fault you missed that. :( I'm not trying to be harsh or anything but that kinda affects everyone, not just you, so um. yeah. D8

Okami and I have actually been meaning to talk to you about it. Late July had been an utter nightmare for the both of us so we hadn't read through every single post, and I actually just found out the night of the August 5th. We stayed up checking everyone's journals and discovered you're not the only one who had done so.

Please be careful to read these things in the future. Retconning might be pretty ridiculous at this point but, as I said, Okami and I are actually in the middle of figuring that out. We'll probably come back to talk to you later tonight or tomorrow about it once we've talked.

ah, good to know i wasnmt the only one ^^;; but sure, we can talk! i am at my family reunion at the moment so i wont be having any internet access till sometime tonight when we get to the hotel and even then, i dont know the internet situation quite yet so bare with me if i disappear till monday since that's when i get home.
