most of the time but perhaps not all of the time

I could work with that, I think. :|a I mean, I really don't have an opinion on whether translators give subtitles or a character replica voice (although now I have this mental image of someone showing someone else the subtitles they see when they talk on the 'gear and it's fairly amusing) -- as long as the inflection/shit grammar/tone/whatever is kept, I'm good on that. I'll probably constantly forget to label what language posts are in, in the event the barrier sticks around in 2 or 3 style, but that takes like two seconds of OOC "what language is this" "oh, derpese" and la la rambling.

I was going somewhere with this.

RIGHT, face-to-face things. "He fumbled with the Pokegear to turn the translator on" is something that I know I would forget watch me assume other people would too, oops and it might just be kinda tedious? and then the sticky issues of characters who aren't technologically inclined at all and might not be able to handle face-to-face or gear-only translator-working. and things.

SO I SUPPOSE, for me at least, I'm fine with getting rid of the barrier OR keeping it, but. as long as those tricky details are figured out? otherwise I know there are people JUST LIKE MEEEE who would be constantly pinging you modly ones with questions like WHAT DO I DO, WORTH JUST KICKED HIS POKEGEAR ACROSS THE ROOM AND EVERYONE IS BABBLING KATAKANA AT HIM NOW!!!!

or something like that. I mean, the language barrier isn't really part of the plot, is it? so I feel like you two being bogged down with questions about it would get SO TEDIOUS when there are other things about the game that are more. important.
