✭ BREAKING NEWS ✭
![]() ▶ ▷ ▶ TERROR ON THE TRAIN! Good morning newfans! This is Ace Reporter SARA here with an update on the weekend train situation! I'm here live from Goldenrod City Train Depot where the Magnet Train was towed in Saturday evening. As you all most likely know by now, it was attacked by a number of nefarious individuals seeking to rob the passengers blind! And thanks to the efforts of a few brave trainers, their plans were foiled! And after the train was brought into the station, we were lucky to get an interview with Trainer MAKA ALBARN about the situation. Here's her thoughts on what it was like to battle those awful awful robbers: ”It was surprising when we got approached like that--but then my friend went and kicked one of them after they demanded our Pokemon, so I initiated the battle before a brawl could start. It wasn't scary battling with them, to be honest...they weren't that tough. Everybody else pitched in to help, too, and I think they weren't expecting that. I think the diciest part was trying to battle in such cramped quarters, I'm certainly not in a rush to ever experience that again.” What a brave trainer. And how lucky for the passengers that there were people like her and her friend on the train. From here, we're going go to Ace Reporter JOSE with an update on the train's condition! |
![]() ▶ ▷ ▶ OUT OF ORDER? Hi everybody! This is Ace Reporter JOSE and as you can see behind me, I'm in front of the Magnet Train with an update on its status after this weekend's harrowing events. From what we've learned, in addition to robbing the train, those cowardly criminals actually set fire to the engine room! We've been told by train staff that the damage could've been much worse, and if not for the quick thinking of a few brave trainers, the train actually would've been out of order for much longer than Sunday's temporary outage. We managed to get a statement from one of those amateur firefighters, so here are Trainer AOI ASAHINA's thoughts on what it was like on the train: "It was kind of scary at first! I mean, I was ready to battle but then I smelled the smoke and I knew something else was up. Everyone else I could see on the train were already fighting the Rockets on board, I'm not sure they even noticed there was a fire! I'm really glad everything turned out alright though and I'm grateful Jimmy and Joker were there with me! I probably couldn't have handled it that well on my own." Amazing, right folks? I know all of us here at EV News are extremely glad for her and her friends' efforts! And from here, we go to our colleague REGGIE, with our third story about the Magnet Train attack. |
![]() ▶ ▷ ▶ FLYING THE FRIENDLY SKIES Ace Reporter REGGIE here with our final story for the day! Now you've already heard about the battles and the fire, but what about those brave individuals that helped fly passengers from the train to Goldenrod? Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure any of them for an interview, but I'm here with Juggler BERT, who was on the train that fateful day. BERT, could you tell us about the trip from the train to Goldenrod? ”Sure thing! I was just sitting there minding my own business when these guys started asking for everybody's stuff. Luckily, some trainers stepped up, took them out, and somebody was nice enough to give me a lift back to Goldenrod. I'm really grateful too, because I was worried I'd have to walk home from there! Also, hey, any idea when I can get my Mr. Mime back from the police? One of those guys took it, and I was wondering how long it'd be before the cops give it back.” No idea on that one BERT. I'd suggest calling the Kangaskhan Cross-Region Police Department for more information! That's all the time we have for today newsfans, so this concludes today's EV News Bulletin! |
