I've been playing under the assumption that he no longer has the power to flash step since powers were removed, so that's a non issue. So he definitely won't be used for fighting or anything like that. He will effectively just be an ordinary, creepy as hell puppet if he gets him back.

My only question is would be be able to use him to fight Pokemon battles, as a way to translate the way he used him in canon? As in, speaking through the puppet with ventriloquism to issue attacks and things like that.
