HM01 is actually the HM you receive from Ilex Forest, not a gym. You just gain permission to use it with a gym instead. (Though I'm surprised this has never come to our attention - I honestly don't think anyone's asked us about Cut before!) I'm flagging down Ara to find another way around this.
