That's a good question, actually - no, none of the responses on the log are anonymous! You're using your public Gear accounts to respond, the same as to any other network post, so it'll have your character's name and identity attached.

Basically, everyone's submitted survey got assigned an identifying code, but you haven't been given an entirely new account with PITS, you're just using your own Gear account to access the profiles they've posted and matched for you.
