The Juice Is Loose!
CELADON CITY
DAY 18/10. 6:35.
"It's all hooked up! What a success, let's get this show on the road!"
As the red button is pressed and the admins wait with bated breath, the machine whirs and begins to hum to life, lights flashing and noises sounding as electricity pours through the wires and begins powering its functions. Nearby, a handpicked group of favored Grunts stand watching through wide eyes as well, eager to witness whether their leaders' promise of a new age of never-before-seen Pokemon will in fact become a reality right here, right now.
The device engages; needles begin to steadily creep toward the right edge of their dials, and LED panels flicker in indication as information begins to stream across computer monitors.
At 6:39 AM on October 18th, the first Fusion — a Mr. Sir — appears on the testing room floor. That bubblegum-dapper gentlémon is the first, but it's certainly not the last.
"All right, grunts, that's the last of them for today. Get down to the test room floor and start rounding them up."
"Yes, sir!"
Correct in form as always, the Grunts salute and begin making their way down to the testing room floor, and there are handshakes all around in the control room. For the moment.
It's when the admins begin to wonder what's taking their Grunts so long, and switch on the intercom to the testing room floor to investigate, that the reason for that delay abruptly comes to light — and in the form of panic, shouting, and mayhem.
As of this post, the Fusions have begun to swarm and can now be found making their way across the countryside! Which means...
