Being the skittish kind of person he is Latvia needs someone he can cling to as a safety net. Considering that he hasn't been in this world as long as some people he's probably not going to be devastated at the loss of his Pokémon but he'll still be worried and want to help.

I'm hoping to use this as an opportunity to create new CR and get CR with characters he's already interacted with. So if anyone wants to plot anything I'll be more than happy! Latvia is generally good natured so if people are kind of him he'll be more than willing to help them out.
